We know already that we need goals if we’re going to make appreciable changes in our lives.

We know that breaking those goals down into smaller goals makes the whole package much more manageable.

Try adding this piece: What if, in one year, you are exactly the same as you are now?  What will that be like?  How will you feel?  What about two years?  Five years?

How does that change the goal for you?  Or the urgency?
